Kodiac Isabelle De Angelis Argeneau, who often goes by the nickname of Kodi, is the second youngest child of Daniel Argeneau and Lyndsey Argeneau nee Richelieu. She was born at midnight on May thirty-first. She is one of two Argeneau daughters. Kodiac's blood status is as pure as both of her actual birth parents; Markus De Angelis and Camilla De Angelis nee De Marquis. The De Angelis couple gave Kodiac for adaptation when she was barely three years of age due two both the De Angelis Family and De Marquis Family feud. Kodi is currently sixteen years old and attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry as a member of Ravenclaw House. Kodi is left handed when it comes to writing and performing her magic. Her wand is made out of Black Cherry Wood. It has a Unicorn Hair as its core. The length of her wand is ten inches even.
Ah... How to describe Miss Kodiac Rose Argeneau? Well, for beginners, she has blond hair. The length of her hair tends to stay anywhere from inches below her shoulders {when wavy lose curl} to the middle of her back {when needle straight}. The majority of the time Kodi's hair is in very lose wavy curls. During school hours, her hair is down unless she is attending Potions, Herbology, or Care of Magical Creatures. In lessons such as those her hair is either put up in a pony-tail or a messy bun. Kodi has hazel eyes that can appear lighter or dark in different shades of light. Kodi stands at a height of five foot four inches. The only piercings she has on her body are her ear lobes; one on each. She has no tattoos, although she has already decided that she will be getting one after she graduates from Hogwarts. Kodi as a pretty hour-glass like figure. She weighs about one hundred and twelve pounds. In Kodi's opinion, her best feature would be her long legs.
Kodiac is always in clothing that is practical given what her day consists of. Her Hogwarts uniform is always proper and prim. She always keep herself modestly covered up as to avoid unwanted attention from the wrong people. She enjoys wearing just about any type of clothing except jumpers and overalls. Finds them to be atrocious. Under her white button down top, she normally has a black, grey, or white camisole top so if she gets to hot during an outdoor lecture, she can undo a few buttons. During the weekends at Hogwarts, Kodiac is in street muggle clothes. Normally these street clothes would consist of a pair of distressed, ripped jeans or daisy duke shorts and a tank top are her favorite to wear during muggy autumns and springs. During the winter, she is all wrapped up in loose fitted sweatshirts and non-ripped jeans. When it comes to getting dolled up for a Ball or Social Event; Kodiac goes out of her way to look nice for the occasion.
When it comes to Kodiac's hobbies, she tends to stay in the boundary lines of what is acceptable for a young lady. She enjoys going out shopping for new clothes, shoes, bags, and books. She prefers to keep her feet on the ground but does occasionally go flying around the Quidditch Pitch when she needs to clear her head. She loves music and poetry. She listens to all type of genres from both the wizarding world and the muggle world. Kodi is also very much into gymnastics. She loves performing on the beam and the floor. At Hogwarts, Kodi's favorite lectures include Potions, Herbology, and Ancient Runes. She is not a fan of History of Magic or Divination. She does not like those who have to make drama in order to get attention. In her opinion, if you want to be the center of attention, go for it, but please do it in a way that is respectable to yourself and everyone around you.
Kodiac, like most of her peers has goals she wants to complete in her lifetime. She wants to graduate from Hogwarts near the top of her class. She does not care about being best and being on top, but she wants to be in at least the top ten. Kodi wants to either be a Charms Healer or a Potions Healer. She wants to get married and have a family of her own someday. All the things every girl should want in life. And like everyone else Kodi has her fears. Fears of her family being tortured or murdered. Losing her bonds with her siblings due to a fight that will never be fixed. She also is afraid of a few insects such as centipedes and millipedes. Spiders she can handle as long as they don't creep up on her or crawl on her.
When someone is asked to describe Kodi's best and worst personality quality, most would say that she is intelligent, yet stubborn. Kodi loves to learn, especially in lectures such as Potions and Herbology. She can be found snuggled up in the library at Hogwarts during her free time if it is raining or snowing. The same can be said if she is back home. She is always willing to try and learn something new. As for being stubborn, well one could stay that it runs in her family. Apart from those two top qualities; Kodi is also described as being honest, confident, opinionated, out-going, and fair.
As mentioned before Kodiac was given up by her birth parents when she was barely three years old. Having spent about one to two years in a somewhat abusive Italian orphanage outside of Milan, Italy, Kodiac did not really expect for her life to change until the arrival of Daniel and Lyndsey Argeneau with their three children. The fairly well off muggle family had come to Italy to visit with some of Mrs. Argeneau's family when they had stumbled across the orphanage. Going in to take a look around, the family had come across Kodiac and had immediately fell in love with her despite her very timid nature and her lack of trust. Having managed to get adoption rights over her three months later; the family had brought her back to their home in Wiltshire, England.
It was through the love of the Argeneau family that Kodiac began to trust and gain more confidence in herself. Her older sister Julia had made it her duty to teach Kodi the finer qualities of life such as shopping, cooking and baking, and music. While her two older brothers; Kasey and Wyatt showed her how to stand up and defend for herself. When she had turned six, Kodiac had taken on the challenge of gymnastics and immediately fell in love with the sport. She enjoyed the thrill of doing various twists and flips on the beam and performing lyrical movements on the floor mat. She had even competed in a few gymnastic meets winning some medals and trophies for her individual performances and her overall performances.
Just after having turned eight; Kodi had gotten to witness the birth of the newest Thorne member; Robert Alexander Thorne. Even now, Kodi can remember how nervous she had felt with the arrival of the new baby thinking that the Thorne family would put her back in an orphanage because they would no longer have time for her. However that fear was squashed when her parents had told her that they would never give her up. When Kodi was on the reach of her eleventh birthday; she began to notice that strange events would occur around her when her emotions were at their strongest. Her parents too had notice; but they themselves had noticed it years before and had played it off. However, that had all changed when the family had received a visit from a member of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Having spent a good several hours trying to explain to Kodiac and her family that she was a witch was certainly not something the family had expected. Once again, Kodi found that fear of being abandoned rise. And once again, her family reassured her that they were not going to give her up. That they always knew that there was something special about her and that day back when they had walked through that orphanage in Italy. So after the long discussion and putting aside her fears that Kodiac decided to attend Hogwarts with her parents blessings.
Now in her sixth year at Hogwarts; Kodiac has a better understanding of who she is; not just in a magical sense, but within her family as well. Just this past summer; she had found out just who her birth parents were and their reason for giving her up. It was just too bad that she did not get a chance to meet them again since both that passed just several years after giving her up. She came to find out that both of them had come from respectable Italian pureblood families. And unfortunately for her; none of her parents' relatives were alive leaving both families without an heir to their fortunes until recently. Even with her new found riches, Kodiac prefers the life she has with the Argeneau family. She prefers it so much that just two weeks before the start of her Sixth year at Hogwarts, Kodiac legally changed her name from Kodiac Rose De Angelis to Kodiac Rose Argeneau.
